Near the beach and on the beach get used as if they were the same sentence. They are not. Near the beach can mean a parking pass, a path shared with the next few buildings, and a wagon. Gulf front with private beach access means the sand is the front of the house.
The walk is the difference
Seaclusion is the second kind of stay. The address is 330 Tango Mar Drive, Miramar Beach, FL 32550, on the gulf in Miramar Beach, with a private beach and a private beach boardwalk. You are not lining up at a hotel path. With a group that sleeps 24, that shows up the first morning, when coolers and kids would otherwise be a project.
The first-floor living room and kitchen face the gulf, and patio doors open toward the shore. Two second-floor bedrooms are gulf-front kings with private balconies. The primary suite on the third floor has its own balcony, and the upper decks look out over the water. If the group booked the house for the gulf, those are the rooms that deliver it. The floor plans show which ones face the water.
The pool stays on the same walk
Beach chairs are complimentary in season, so the setup is not a separate errand every morning. The private pool and hot tub sit on the gulf side. A windy afternoon, or a nap that only half the group agrees to, does not require packing up for a public beach. Four covered decks cover the shade. The gallery has the pool, the decks, and the view from the house.
When a private beach is the wrong priority
If the plan is to be gone from breakfast until dinner, a house a few rows back can be the right call. Say that when you inquire. If the plan is to stay in, cook, and treat the gulf as the schedule, the private beach is the feature the week is built on. The busier public beaches of Destin are a drive from here, which is the point of Miramar Beach versus Destin.
The rest of the house still has to work for the headcount: 9 bedrooms, two kitchens, parking for seven, and an elevator for floors 1โ3. That checklist is in choosing a large beach house. The location page has the map.
